Guidelines for Students

Inspiring Discipline, Responsibility, and Excellence in Every Learner
  1. Our students should be polite and disciplined wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet all the teachers, whenever and wherever they meet them. Bullying, use of foul language and vulgar behaviour will lead to strict action.
  2. They should never hesitate to say ‘No’ when asked or tempted to do a thing, which they know to be wrong.
  3. They should take pride in wearing their school uniform. They should not wear the school uniform in any public place outside school, without prior permission.
  4. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments to school.
  5. No book (other than textbooks or library books), magazine or paper should be brought to school without the Class Teacher’s permission.
  6. Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted.
  7. Bursting crackers or splashing colour during Diwali/Holi or any other occasion in the school premises or school buses is strictly forbidden. Non-compliance with these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.
  8. Care must be taken of all the school property. If any damage is done, it will be made good by the concerned student together with a fine imposed for the offence.
  9. Students are advised not to carry any valuable articles (e.g. mobile phones, expensive watches, electronic gadgets, cameras, calculators or jewellery) to school. In case of loss, the school authorities will try to trace the item but hold no responsibility.
  10. Strict action will be taken against students using unfair means in examinations.
  11. No re-assessment will be conducted for annual examinations missed due to absence.
  12. Students must not bring gifts or presents to school for birthdays or any other occasion. A student may distribute a toffee/chocolate per student in their section. No gifts are to be given to teachers.
  13. Students must converse only in English during school hours. Parents should also create a supportive environment at home for English communication.
  14. Arriving late to school is not allowed. More than two late arrivals will lead to disciplinary action or being sent back home on the third occurrence.
  15. Students must be present on the first day of the academic year, the day school reopens after vacations, and the last working day before vacations.
  16. Students are not permitted to drive vehicles to school. Parents must strictly supervise this.
