Guidelines to Parents

Partnering with You to Ensure Every Student’s Safety, Growth, and Well‑Being

  1. Parents must read the contents of the Almanac to understand the school’s systems and functioning.
  2. They must check the Almanac regularly for school updates and ensure their ward brings it daily. If lost, a new one must be purchased immediately.
  3. Student record pages in the Almanac must be filled out clearly, correctly, and completely, and signed. A copy must be submitted to the Class Teacher.
  4. Updated office/residence addresses and phone numbers must be shared with the school for the child’s safety. Any changes must be reported with proof.
  5. Parents should ensure the school bag contains only the books needed per the timetable.
  6. Students should keep track of worksheets and circulars with parental support.
  7. Leave records must be maintained. Students with less than 80% attendance will not be allowed to take the annual examination.
  8. Leave will only be granted upon submission of a prior written application signed by parents.
  9. Absence for more than two weeks without written information will lead to removal from school rolls. Re-admission will depend on seat availability and payment of re-admission fees.
  10. Withdrawal Policy: A one-month prior notice is required to withdraw admission or facilities (e.g., transport). Transfer certificates will be issued after clearance of dues.
  11. If the required notice is not served, the parent must pay the full quarter’s fees.
  12. Parents must regularly monitor their child’s academic progress, class test performance, and homework/project submissions.
  13. Sick children should rest at home. Doctor appointments should be scheduled outside school hours. No half-day or short leave is allowed.
  14. Parents must support punctuality, discipline, and regularity.
  15. Parents must arrange prompt pickup from bus stops. The guardian picking up the child must carry the school-issued ID card.
  16. Special meetings during school hours may not be arranged except in emergencies, which must be communicated through the Almanac or email.
  17. Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) are essential and should be attended without fail.
  18. Parents must ensure their child does not use foul or offensive language.
  19. Teachers should not be discussed in front of children.
  20. Students must be taught to take care of their own belongings.
  21. If private transport (rickshaw, van) is used, parents are fully responsible for verifying driver credentials and ensuring safety.
  22. Arguments with school staff or guards are unacceptable.
  23. Non-bus users will not be allowed to leave school without being escorted by a parent or guardian carrying the ID card.
  24. Parents are encouraged to visit the school website regularly.
  25. The school will not accept water bottles or tiffins sent later via others for security reasons.
  26. Students will not be allowed to leave early from school to maintain academic discipline.
  27. All parent communication must be addressed to the Principal.
